Testimonials

At Fit & Fun we can boast a whole playground full of happy children, parents and teachers. Read what they have to say about us.

We have recently worked with Debbie for our 3 week Summer Play Scheme called SHOUT! In which she provided us with many Multisport Coaching sessions. These included: Volleyball, Rugby, Hockey and Tennis. Not only were her sessions Structured, Varied and Specific, they were also Fun which I feel is very important for a child to stay engaged! Debbie was aware of the children’s needs and took them into consideration for each session plan. There was not 1 child who did not come away extremely happy. Not only were we getting compliments from the children and staff at the Summer Scheme, we were receiving amazing feedback from Parents too whose Children had gone away and talked about their day.

We absolutely cannot wait to work with Debbie more in the future, a top quality coach with a bubbly personality and a lot of passion for her work.

Emily Lewis - Sports Development Assistant (Elmbridge Borough Council)

I can highly recommend Fit & Fun, so can all the children that have been partaking of it over the past 10 years! I have been having classes from Debbie and her team for over 10 years. They are very reliable, fun and great with the children; who get so much out of their weekly lesson with Debbie.

Fit & Fun provide a variety of sports for young children, ranging from athletics, hockey, rugby and football to simple throwing and catching skill based games. They are patient with the children and have a great relationship with the children and the staff at the nursery.

I wholeheartedly recommend the experience of Fit & Fun for your children, they achieve so much it helps with turn taking and sharing as well as motor development and general sportsmanship of cheering each other on. All our children participate from 18 months to 5 years it is great to see their skills develop.

Fit & Fun sessions have been running at the Adventure Pre-school for some 15yrs, and the classes have proved to be very popular. They are both educational and motivational and provide a much needed avenue for organised exercise, in an increasingly sedentary world.

The classes have become an integral part our curriculum as they build a discipline and team spirit, which we believe better prepares children for school life.

The team at Fit & Fun are very well organised, reliable and full of enthusiasm.

We value the practitioners and their input and would highly recommend them to any Early Years setting.

Adventure Pre School

Fit & Fun sessions are a brilliant and fun way to introduce sports to young children. Debbie makes each session age appropriated and the children learn a variety of skills in an exciting, safe and engaging environment. Every child loves Fit & Fun and often ask "is it sports today?" I would recommend Fit & Fun sessions to every nursery.

Jo Matveieff - Manager, The Schoolroom Putney

We have found the Fit & Fun sessions a valuable experience and highly enjoyed part of the day. The sessions not only help to develop the children's physical skills but to encourage their turn taking skills and knowledge of colours and numbers as well.

Here is what some of the children say:

  • "I like playing cricket because I learnt to bat - JT"
  • "I like doing the big cheer and the Bobs and Barbies game is fun - CG"
  • "I like learning new sports"
  • "I like playing ball games"
